What Can I Do here
The Town is committed to being actively involved in the daily life of our residents.
The Town's calendar of events is as varied as our residents and more exciting, innovative events are being planned all the time. In October we have our inaugural Eco Fair, followed by our first live broadcast of Tartuffe by Black Swan Theatre for our performing arts lovers. The streets will come alive in November with our major festival, Summer Street Party and our Twilight Concert Series runs through the summer months in our beautiful parks, featuring a range of live music. Our events calendar is currently being updated, so keep an eye out for more fun and vibrant events coming to Town soon!
The Town runs two leisure centres. Aqualife is focused around a stunning outdoor 50m pool and also has an indoor pool, health club and crèche. The Leisurelife centre is a dry facility and has indoor sports courts and a gym.
Victoria Park Library
The Victoria Park Library is in the heart of our community with a range of books, magazines, CDs and DVDs to borrow. The Library also houses the Victoria Park local history collection, a vast children's section, public computers and free Wi-Fi.
disability access and inclusion
The Town is committed to ensuring that all people have access to facilities and areas of the Town.
safer community connections
Building a safe and connected community is a focus of the Town. The Town works with local police and neighbourhood watch groups to monitor issues.
