Book Week is the longest running children's festival in Australia, celebrating its 65th birthday in 2010. This year, Book Week 2012 will be held from Saturday 18 – Friday 24 August. This is a week for the Victoria Park Library to celebrate books, Australian authors and illustrators and highlight the importance of reading.

The library will also be holding its annual colouring competition based around this year’s theme of ‘Champions Read.’ Download the colouring sheet or pop into the library and pick one up (dont' forget your entry form!). Get in quick as entries close on Friday 10 August .
