VICTORIA PARK COMMUNITY GARDEN

If you would like to find out more about wicking beds come along to the Victoria Park Community Garden annual open day, Sunday 23 September, 10am – 2pm.

The Victoria Park Community Garden is located in Read Park and provides a place for individuals, families, school groups and community groups to lease one of the 32 lots and have their hand in gardening. Currently there are 25 fruit trees, some communal growing areas, a worm farm and an area for having a cuppa under the giant Moreton Bay fig tree!

There will be a sausage sizzle, cake stall, plants for sale and other activities for the whole family to enjoy!
Everyone is welcome to head down for a tour of the garden and a chat with the members!
