Holding an Event in Town?

The Town can provide advice and guidance to the organisers of community and large public events. Approval must be granted by the Town to hold an event and bookings are required if you wish to hold the event in the Town’s parks and reserves. To protect the health and safety of those attending, a number of aspects of the event must be considered. These include:

•     food safety and hygiene practices
•     venue safety
•     fire safety
•     electrical safety
•     public toilets
•     noise emissions
•     insurance
•     emergency evacuation plans
