Employee Assistance Program

We also provide staff with access to an Employee Assistance Program (EAP). The EAP provides a confidential counselling service for all employees and their immediate families to resolve personal or work related issues.

Social club

The Town has a very active social club that get together on a monthly basis.

For a small membership fee, members are treated to many free events, as well as discounted tickets to three major events each year.

Past events have included Swan Valley wine tours, sundowners, lunch at Rottnest Island, river cruises, movie nights, ten-pin bowling and dinners.

Breastfeeding friendly workplace

The Town of Victoria Park has officially received accreditation as a breastfeeding friendly workplace by providing a breastfeeding room at its administration building and designated areas at both leisure facilities and depot.

The Town has acknowledged the public health, economic and social benefits of supporting breastfeeding women in paid work and is hoping to lead by example.
