The rich cultural heritage that the the Town of Victoria Park represents, provides opportunities for everyone to engage with, promote and learn from other cultures, to enhance the bonds and vibrancy of our community.

In 2013, Council supported the creation of a Cultural Engagement Officer in the Town. This position operates within the Community Development team, and seeks to establish links with culturally and linguistically diverse and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander groups to foster inclusivity and a greater sense of community.

Aboriginal Engagement

The Town of Victoria Park acknowledges the vast and diverse population who live, work and enjoy life in the Town. Aboriginal people have, and always will be, the original custodians of the land which the Town of Victoria Park is on.
