Community Grants Awards Presentation Evening

Successful Community Grants Program applicants for the October 2018 funding round were awarded funding at the Community and Place Grants presentation evening on Wednesday 6 February 2019. 

In this round of funding, the Town is giving more than $100,000 in community grants and place grants.

The grants program financially supports events, services, programs, sector development or projects that support the achievement of the Town's Strategic Community Plan's values, vision and mission. 

The community grants are provided to increase capacity of community groups, businesses, clubs and organisations within the Town to implement projects, activities and program that enhance and promote the community wellbeing in Victoria Park.

The Town of Victoria Park place grant is designed to assist Town Teams to improve the district’s places and contribute to them becoming more sustainable not-for-profit entities.

A Town Team is a group of residents, businesses and landowners working collaboratively to improve their local neighbourhood. Improvements could include physical improvement, a business development project or a town centre marketing initiative.
