Switch your thinking

The Town is a participant in the Switch your thinking regional sustainability program, which is an initiative of the South East Regional Energy Group which consists of the Cities of Armadale, Gosnells and Serpentine-Jarrahdale, with partners; Town of Victoria Park, City of Perth, City of South Perth, City of Belmont and the City of Stirling. It is an initiative through which our Council seeks to assist residents and community members to make sustainability changes. 

The Town works in partnership with the Switch your thinking program to deliver staff and community education and awareness initiatives, implement measures that aim to save energy, water and operating costs, and reduce greenhouse gas emissions.  Recent initiatives include Rewards for residents, Rewards for business and Responsible Cafes, and Switched on Business Award Program.
