Pools and lane availability
Visit one of our sparkling aquatic pools to enjoy a refreshing swim, join in aquatic classes or relax in the spa or steam room.
Aquatic facilities include:
- eight lane outdoor 50m pool
- six lane indoor 25m pool
- leisure pool
- hydrotherapy pool (34 degrees)
- spa (36 degrees)
- steam room
- access ramp into the indoor 25m pool, spa and hydro pool
- hoist for transfer into aquatic wheelchair
- change room facilities
- family/disabled change room.

Outdoor 50m pool
Heated to 27 degrees, and a depth ranging from 1.4m to 2m, the outdoor pool can be configured as either eight x 50m lanes or 16 x 25m lanes. A submersible swim wall is raised to create 25m lanes for specific programming flexibility.
Current times the submersible wall is in use*:
- Every Sunday from 3pm and Wednesday from 3pm commencing 27 January 2021.
- Every Monday from 12pm commencing January 4, 2021
- NB: 25m lanes are available at the shallow end during waterpolo games.

Indoor 25m pool
The 25m lap pool is an indoor pool used for beginner lap swimming, walking, aqua classes and swimming lessons. The lap pool has six lanes with a depth of 1.2m.

For younger members of the family, the leisure pool is a perfect area for kids to splash and have fun.
The hydrotherapy pool is heated to a warm 34 degrees, and is used for swimming lessons, hydrotherapy and gentle exercise. It features poolside changing rooms, showers and a convenient entry ramp.
This pool is primarily designed for water based therapy/rehabilitation/infant water awareness. It is also used for Aqualife Swim Classes. During swimming lessons the program/hydro pool is not available. Unless engaged in water based therapy or rehabilitation, children up to the age of 16 are not permitted in the program/hydrotherapy pool.
The hydrotherapy pool no longer requires bookings however we ask that you maintain social distancing when using this area.
Spa and steam room
What better way to finish off your swim than with a relaxing spa or steam room visit. The steam room is cleaned at 1pm daily.
Watch Around Water
Children under five years must be accompanied into the centre by a responsible adult over 16 years of age and supervised within arm’s reach at all times. Children under 13 years must be accompanied into the centre by a responsible adult over 16 years and supervised at all times. Watch Around Water is an important industry-driven program that contributes significantly to ensuring the safety and reducing risk at our public swimming pools.
