Group fitness and circuit classes

We’re pleased to announce that from Monday 25 May, our Aqualife centre will offer a limited number of group fitness classes. Please visit our Leisure Facilities FAQ page for a full list of up to date information about the opening, view the temporary group fitness timetable and learn how members can book into a free group fitness class. 

Leisurelife will reopen from Tuesday 2 June with restricted access only for permanent bookings and businesses that work out of the centre. 

Whether you’re looking to get yourself into a new exercise routine or have been a fitness enthusiast for years, group exercise classes are an excellent way to find the motivation you need to reach your fitness goal.

Vic Park free online exercise classes

Vic Park is offering free live online classes to members and non-member.

Facebook Live Fitness Classes

30 minute fitness class every Wednesday at 4.30pm with one of your regular Vic Park group fitness instructors.

Zoom Live Senior Fitness Circuits

30 minute fitness circuits every Monday & Wednesday 8.30am with one of your regular Vic Park gym instructors. 

How to join

Zoom is a free web and app based program that allows for live video conferencing.

  • Workouts are every Monday & Wednesday at 8.30am
  • Each workout is 30 minutes and will be done via Zoom using the link below.
  • Please come warmed up and ready for a live fun and friendly workout.
  • You can use the link below to join our Zoom workout using a destop computer, laptop, smart phone or tablet.  We recommend using a device with a camera so we can also see you, however this is not compulsory and we would like you to use whatever you are comfortable with.

Conditions of entry
  • Bring a towel to every class
  • Wear correct gym attire and closed in training shoes
  • Class pass must be collected from front reception and handed to the instructor prior to the class commencing
  • Arrive 5 minutes prior to the class commencing. Once the class has commenced you will not be permitted entry under any circumstances; and
  • Please advise the instructor if you are new to the class or have a medical condition

Class descriptions

Lesmills - Group Fitness Studio

BODYATTACK is a 55-minute high-energy workout catering for total beginners to total addicts. Build stamina with sports-inspired moves, improve coordination and burn up to 730 calories. 

BODYBALANCE is a 55-minute yoga-based class which includes elements of Yoga, Tai Chi and Pilates. Strengthen your entire body and leave feeling calm and centered. Bring your own yoga mat.

BODYCOMBAT is a 55-minute high-energy martial arts-inspired workout that is totally non-contact. Punch and kick your way to fitness and burn up to 740 calories in a class.

BODYPUMP is a 55-minute workout for anyone looking to get lean, toned and fit – fast. Using light to moderate weights with lots of repetition, burn up to 590 calories. Shape, tone, increase core strength and improve bone health. 

BODYSTEP is a 55-minute full-body cardio workout to really tone your butt and thighs. Basic stepping, just like walking up and down stairs, is at the heart of BODYSTEP. Burn up to 620 calories and leave buzzing with satisfaction. 

TONE is a 45 minute mix of functional training and tubular exercises helping you burn calories and take your fitness to the next level. Suitable for all fitness levels. 

CXWORX is a 30-minute workout which exercises muscles around the core and provides the vital ingredient for a stronger body. Work with resistance tubes and weight plates, as well as body weight exercises.   

Lesmills - RPM Studio

RPM is an indoor cycling class, set to the rhythm of motivating music.Burn up to 620 calories, and get fit fast. Improve aerobic fitness and tone and shape your legs. 

Freestyle - Group Fitness Studio 

POWER CIRCUIT (HIIT) is a 55-minute workout based on high-intensity interval training. It alternates a dynamic strength move along with a high-intensity power move so you work your entire body and get your heart rate up to burn more calories. Workouts include shuttle runs, tractor tyres and stationed reps.

YOGA is a 55-minute class suitable for all fitness levels. Lengthen your body, flow with the breath and create core strength in every move.  Enlighten your body and mind. Bring your own yoga mat.

METAFIT is a 30-minute body weight training system that gets results! It is a functional and effective, metabolic workout that will change the way you train.

HIIT / BOX 45 is a 45-minute non - contact high intensity boxing-for-fitness class. Designed to improve fitness, speed, strength and muscle conditioning. No boxing experience necessary. 

HIIT / STEP is a 45-minute class using only body weight and a STEP. It is challenging but also great fun. Improves power, speed, agility and endurance.

Gym – Leisurelife Centre 

CIRCUIT BREAKER – Low-impact class designed for all levels of fitness and ages or those commencing an exercise program for the first time.

SENIOR CIRCUIT – Low-impact class designed for over 50s or those commencing an exercise program for the first time. 

Pool – Aqualife Centre 

AQUA FIT – Suitable for all levels of fitness and ages. Cardio and conditioning workout performed in water to support the body and provide resistance.

AQUA DANCE – Invigorating, fun choreographed workout to uplifting music.

DEEP WATER AQUA – Suitable for all levels of fitness and ages and beneficial to people recovering from injuries. Workout in deep water aided by buoyancy equipment.

AQUA RESISTANCE– Combines exercise band and water resistance exercise into one effective workout.
