Leisure Facilities COVID FAQs

As per the WA government’s announcement, from Friday, 29 April 2022 proof of vaccination is no longer required at the Town of Victoria Park leisure facilities.

COVID-19 Updates

Update Friday 29 April 2022

From 12.01am, Friday 29 April 2022 the below public health measures will come into effect.

 

 

Gym & Group Fitness

Do you need to be double dose vaccinated or have a medical exemption to use the gym or group fitness?

Effective 12.01am, Friday 29 April 2022 you do not need to be vaccinated.

Do masks need to be worn in the gym, group fitness or aqua classes?

Effective 12.01am, Friday 29 April 2022 you do not need to wear a mask in the leisure facilities.

Are towels to be used on fitness equipment?

Yes, as always towels must be used on fitness equipment.

Is it mandatory to wipe down equipment after use?

We highly recommend members wipe down after every use of equipment. Gym staff will also be undertaking additional cleaning duties to major touch points.

 

Swim School

Do I need to wear a mask on pool deck while watching my child’s class?

Effective 12.01am, Friday 29 April 2022 masks and proof of vaccination are no longer required at the Town of Victoria Park leisure facilities.

What should I do if I need to quarantine and miss a lesson?
Parents must email swim school as soon as possible for options at swim@vicpark.wa.gov.au

Aquatics

Do you need to be double dose vaccinated or have a medical exemption to use the swimming pools?

No.

Do I need to wear a mask in the pools or spa?
