Leisure facilities FAQs

The Town’s Leisure Facilities will be returning with a majority of their services and programs, as of Tuesday 6 July 2021.

Opening as of Tuesday 6 July 2021

  • Aqualife and Leisurelife gyms
  • Aqualife and Leisurelife group fitness
  • Aqualife and Leisurelife creche
  • Aqualife aquatics area (including 50m outdoor, 25m indoor, leisure, hydrotherapy, and spa)
  • Leisurelife adult sporting competitions
  • Leisurelife social badminton sessions
  • Leisurelife casual squash, basketball and badminton hire

  • Leisurelife bingo

All attendees will need to sign in using the SafeWA app and be required to wear a face masks indoors.

What will happen to my Aqualife or Leisurelife membership during the lock-down period?

All memberships types have been placed on an automatic free suspension from Tuesday 29 June until Tuesday 6 July.

All memberships that are suspended during this period will be adjusted by a pro-rata amount accordingly and applied to the next direct debit payment. 

An extension have also be provided to upfront memberships and flexi passes.

What happens to my swim school classes and payments?

All swimming lessons between Tuesday 29 June – Sunday 4 July have been cancelled. A credit will be placed on the swimmers account to be used in the next direct debit run.  

Swimming lessons will resume after the two week break on Monday 19 July. 

 

Do I need to wear a face mask when participating in vigorous activities?

All customers participating in vigorous exercise will be able to remove their face masks during the activity but must put them back on when entering and exiting the facilities.

We ask that everyone takes a common sense approach to wearing a face mask when exercising and respect other users. If you are concerned about someones behaviour and they are not adhering to these measures, please speak to one of our friendly staff members. 

 

 

Will Senior Circuits be running?

Senior circuits sessions will resume as of Tuesday 6 July.

The maximum number of participants will remain that same as previously but we ask that you maintain social distancing during your sessions. 

What is happening to Bingo Saturday night?

With restrictions now lifted Bingo will be returning on Saturday 17 July 2021.

 

What will be happening with my multi-pass?

All multi passes expiry dates have been extended for the duration of the lock-down period.

What happens if I want to suspend or cancel my membership?

If a member wishes to suspend or cancel their membership, our standard terms will still apply.

Members will be required to email through their request to leisure@vicpark.wa.gov.au

Members' registration and booking into group fitness classes

How do members register to book online?

  1. If you have previously accessed the members portal, click on the link to login https://secure.activecarrot.com/login?site=1195 and enter you details and click “Login”.
  2. If this is your first time using the members portal, click on the following link https://secure.activecarrot.com/login/forgot_password_alternate/1195 and enter in your email address to retrieve your password. Then follow the steps in your email to set up a new password

How do I book into a group fitness class?

  1. Log into the members portal and enter in your details and click “Login”
  2. To change location between Aqualife and Leisurelife simply select the tab change location on the right hand side of the portal.
  3. Hover your mouse over “Book Online” then click on the type of session you wish to book.
  4. Select the date of the booking, then click “Book” on the applicable session.
  5. Check you have selected the correct session then click on “Book Now”.
  6. A confirmation email will be sent to your nominated email address.

What will be happening to all sports at Leisurelife?

All sporting competitions and casual sports will resume from 12.01am Tuesday 6 July, pending further advice from the WA Premier.

When in the facility, please adhere to the following hygiene/safety guidelines:

  • Every person will be required to register contact tracing information upon attending the centre either manually or via the SafeWA app.
  • Masks to be worn at all times unless actively playing. 
  • Wash your hands regularly.
  • Ensure you bring a towel and water bottle to your game.
  • Avoid sharing food and beverages.

 

 

What will be happening to all junior programs at Leisurelife?

All junior programs will resume from 12.01am Tuesday 6 July, pending further advice from the WA Premier.
