All membership fees will be activated from Saturday 4 July 2020

We understand that not everyone is ready to engage back in social and physical activities, so we are offering for limited time a three-month complementary suspension from 4 July 2020 until 4 October 2020.

If members would like to take up our complementary suspension to avoid any membership payments occurring, they are required to complete and submit an online form before 5pm Thursday 2 July 2020. Please note that all Members Only interim passes will expire on Saturday 4 July 2020.

Our website is the main source for all information regarding changes to any of the facilities programs or service. We will also be communicating these via our other Town channels (Facebook, e-newsletters etc.)

Aqualife - phase four changes and opening hours

As from Monday 28 June 2020, Aqualife will be extending its range of services and programs for members and the community to enjoy.  The community can access the gym, group fitness classes, 25m indoor pool, hydrotherapy pool, spa, and crèche.   

To ensure that the facility adheres to the State Government's social distancing restrictions, bookings are desirable for both recreational swim, crèche and group fitness classes.

 Aqualife opening hours:

  • Mon-Thur 5.30am to 8.30pm
  • Fri 5.30am to 8pm
  • Sat 7am to 5pm
  • Sun 7am to 5pm

All other service and programs including the steam room and 50m outdoor pool will all remains closed until further notice. The 50m outdoor pool will remain closed due to undergoing refurbishment works, due for completion in August 2020.

Leisurelife - phase four changes and opening hours

As from Monday 28 June 2020, Leisurelife will also be offering a number of services to members and the community include; the gym, group fitness classes, team sports training/competitions, squash and badminton programs. Bingo will all remains closed until further notice.

Leisurelife opening hours:

  • Mon-Fri 5.30am to 9.30pm
  • Sat 8am to 6pm
  • Sun 8am to 4pm

Memberships and multipass FAQs

What happens to my Aqualife or Leisurelife membership? 

All membership’s fees will be activated from Saturday, 4 July 2020.

When will my first direct debit occur?

On Sunday 5 July 2020, all direct debit payments will be processed with their necessary credits for the time lost since due to the closure on the 18 March 2020.

If members would like to avoid any membership payments occurring, as they do not want to return at this stage. They are required to complete and submit an online complementary suspension form before 5pm Thursday, 2 July 2020. A complementary suspension form can be found here.

What happens if I want to cancel my membership? 

If a member wishes to cancel their membership during the closure, our standard cancellation terms will still apply. Members will be required to email through their cancellation to leisure@vicpark.wa.gov.au and the new fees and charges will be applicable if members wish to renew at a later date. 

When will my Members Only interim pass expire?

All interim membership passes will be set to expire on the Saturday, 4 July 2020.

What will be happening with my multipass? 

Multipass expiry dates will be extended for the duration of the closure and will be activated from Saturday, 4 July 2020. 

Members' registration and bookings

How do members register for free access?

  1. If you have previously accessed the members portal, click on the link to login https://secure.activecarrot.com/login?site=1195 and enter you details and click “Login”.
  2. If this is your first time using the members portal, click on the following link https://secure.activecarrot.com/login/forgot_password_alternate/1195 and enter in your email address to retrieve your password. Then follow the steps in your email to set up a new password
  3. To make sure you are granted free access, you must sign up for the free “Members Only Interim Pass” by hovering your mouse over “Buy Online” and clicking on “Memberships”.
  4. Find the free “Members Only Interim Pass” and click on “Buy”.
  5. Once you have read the terms of use click on the box then click on “Confirm and Pay” (There is no charge for this pass).

 How do I book into a group fitness class or swim?

  1. All members must first register a Members Only Interim Pass before booking into a class, as described above. Once completed, log into the members portal and enter in your details and click “Login”
  2. Once you have register your Members Only Interim Pass, log into the members portal and enter in your details and click “Login”
  3. To change location between Aqualife and Leisurelife simply select the tab change location on the right hand side of the portal.
  4. Hover your mouse over “Book Online” then click on the type of session you wish to book.
  5. Select the date of the booking, then click “Book” on the applicable session.
  6. Check you have selected the correct session then click on “Book Now”.
  7. A confirmation email will be sent to your nominated email address.

When will my Members Only Interim Pass expire?

All Interim Membership Passes will be set to expire on the Saturday, 4 July 2020.  

How many group fitness classes or swimming sessions can I book in advance? 

Three, you are only able to book three sessions at any one time. Members will only be able to book additional classes or sessions after the first class has been completed.

How do I cancel my booking? 

If you need to cancel a group fitness class or swim, please do so in your membership portal. We ask that you give at least 12 hours’ notice to allow someone else to participate. To cancel a booking log in and click on the magnifying class located under Manage my Bookings on the home screen.

Community/non-member registration and bookings

How do I register to book in a swim, gym or group fitness class?

  3. Log into the customer portal by click on the “here” link

How long in advance can I book for a swim or fitness class?

All members will be able to book into their group fitness class 36 hours in advance and 90 minutes for casual users.

Bookings are no longer required to use the 25m indoor pool, leisure pool or spa.

How many swimming sessions can I book in advance?

How do I cancel my booking? 

Casual sessions cannot be cancelled, as they are non-refundable and non-transferable

Can non-members participate in a group fitness class or use the gym? 

Non-members may pay a casual fee by purchasing a visit at either Aqualife or Leisurelife reception during opening hours.

Safety and hygiene FAQs

How will the facilities manage social distancing?

The facilities programs and the number of participants have been capped in each area at a time. To manage the number of people in the facilities within a given period, the facilities have launched an online booking system to reduce overcrowding.

Signage and floor markings will also be placed around the facility to remind patrons to social distance.

How will the facilities manage who can attend?

All patrons must be checked in at reception before participating in their nominated program or service. Our online booking portal is also available to reduce check in times.

Are change rooms and showers available?

Changing rooms will be reopened and available only in your session time. Personal belongings will not be able to be left in the change rooms.

Are staff doing extra cleaning and how often?

Yes, the facilities have increased the level of cleaning each day. There will also be cleaning and sanitising stations throughout the facilities for patrons to use.

Group fitness FAQs

What group fitness classes will be running at Aqualife and Leisurelife?  

The current Group Fitness Timetable can be found here. The group fitness class timetable has been expanded since opening and class number limits have been extended to our standard booking practices. Members and non-members are encouraged to book via our online portal prior to the class to ensure they don’t miss out.  

 Can non-members participate in a group fitness class?

Yes, non-members can purchase a casual entry to any group fitness class. Bookings can be made either via our online booking portal or at the front reception desk. 

Are online group fitness class bookings essential? 

No, online bookings are not essential. We do recommend for classes during peak period, they book in advance to avoid missing out.

When will senior circuits be running at Leisurelife?

Senior circuits will be running from 8th June at Leisurelife.  For a limited time we are reducing the class size to 16 people per class.  Booking are available online under circuit classes and although not compulsory, we do recommend booking to avoid missing out.  Senior Circuits is only available for all access members, gym essential members, and casual paying patrons.  For a limited time all members with an interim membership can participate in senior circuits.  Casuals can continue to pay and attend as normal.

 Do I need to bring my own drink bottle and towel?

Yes, please remember to bring your towel as we are enforcing a strict no towel no workout policy.

Is it safe?

Gym staff are thoroughly cleaning the equipment and we have also set up cleaning stations around the facility for members to use. We are following strict guidelines from the State Government and have a COVID-19 management plan in place. 

Gym FAQs

I have a gym only membership can I do a group fitness class or swim? 

Yes, for a limited time only all members will be granted free access to the restricted services and programs up until Saturday, 4 July 2020.

To use the facilities during this time, members will first need to register a free ‘Members Only Interim Pass’ via the member’s registration and booking tab. 

When is the gym open? 

Aqualife or Leisurelife gyms are now open for members and the community. 

I’m a nonmember can I use the gym?

Non-members may pay a casual fee or take out a membership by visiting Aqua or Leisure reception during opening hours. 

Do I need to bring my own drink bottle and towel?

Swimming FAQs

What times will the 25m indoor pool be available?

The 25m indoor pool will be available for members and community to book, for recreational swimming on the below times;

  • Mon - Fri 5.30am to 8.00pm
  • Sat - Sun 7.00am to 5.00pm

Bookings are no longer required to use the 25m indoor pool, leisure pool or spa. Changing rooms and showers are also available.  

What times will the hydrotherapy pool be available?

The hydrotherapy pool available for patrons via our online booking portal. Access to the hydrotherapy pool is only available to customers over the age of 18 and for those people doing water based therapy and rehabilitation. Changing rooms will be open and only available in your session time.

Bookings can be completed online by clicking on the following the steps identified under the members or community registration and bookings tabs above. 

How much does it cost? 

All existing members will be granted free access to lap swimming sessions until 4 July 2020. 

All non-members will be able to purchase a $4.80 discounted casual entry up until the 6 July 2020. The facilities standard fees and charges will apply from Monday 6 July 2020. 

How long in advance can casual users book for a swim?

24 hours in advance for casual users and seven days for members.  

When will the steam room open?

Due to the social distancing rules the steam room will remain closed until further notice. 

Will I have access to showers and changing rooms?

Changing rooms, toilets and showers are available.

Do I need to bring my own drink bottle?

Yes, please bring your own water/drink bottles as the drinking fountains will not be able to be used.  

Swim School FAQs

When will swim school begin?

Swim School will return to Aqualife from Monday, 20 July 2020.

Online enrolments will be open from Monday 6 July 2020.

Aqualife swim school is working hard on re-opening and will have an update out to the families within the next few weeks. 

What happened to our remaining money from Term 1?

All remaining money from Term 1 was credited to your account and will be available for use when you re-enrol. 

 

 

Crèche FAQs

Is the crèche open? 

The crèche at both Aqualife and Leisurelife will recommence from Monday, 15 June 2020. Crèche numbers will be limited to 20 children at a given period to maintain social distracting and adhere to the State Governments venue restrictions.    

 

Leisurelife sports and programs FAQs

When will the winter season start for adult sports competitions?

The winter adult basketball, netball and soccer competitions will start from Monday 22 June 2020.

When will the winter season start for junior netball competitions?

The winter season will commence in Term 3 starting Monday 20 July 2020.

When will social badminton programs recommence?

Our social badminton programs are available on the following days/times:

  • Tuesday & Thursday mornings 9.00am - 12.00pm
  • Thursday evenings 6.00pm - 10.00pm
  • Friday evenings 6.00pm - 10.00pm

Can I book a squash court?

Yes, please note bookings and payment over the phone is required prior to arriving. 

When will daytime ladies squash coaching clinics recommence?

Our squash coaching clinics will recommence Friday 12 June 2020 from 9.00am - 10.00am, please note bookings are required via phone or emailing llcsports@vicpark.wa.gov.au.

When will the junior coaching clinics recommence?

Our basketball, netball and soccer junior coaching sessions will recommence in the first week of Term 3 starting Thursday 23 July 2020.

How is Leisurelife addressing hygiene standards?

Our staff will be cleaning benches and equipment regularly, as well monitoring patron numbers in the centre in keeping with government regulations.

How can I ensure safe hygiene practice?

Bring your own water bottle, sanitise hands regularly, be mindful of social distancing regulations, download the COVIDSafe App.
