We are currently undergoing a digitisation project and are working to make as many items in the Local History Collection available as possible, whilst being respectful of copyright, privacy and technological restrictions. In the meantime, this page is just to whet your appetite in terms of historical photographs. More images will be added over time, so please check back regularly for all the updates. And make sure to sign up to Bookmark, the Library's monthly e-newsletter so you don't miss anything that is happening.

Photographs by Accession Number

Click below to expand each accordion and discover some of the photographs in the collection. When each photograph is added to our collection it is given a unique accession number and title. Some accession numbers have suffixes, i.e. "-01", "-02" etc. at the end, this indicates that the photos are connected, either by theme or donor for example.
