Adults

The library offers a range of programs and events for adults; some are regular (weekly/monthly) while others are seasonal (occur several times a year/annually), and some are free, while others can be accessed by paying a small fee.

How do I book in/register for an event?
For free events, you can book in person at the library, via the events calendar, or by contacting the library. For paid events, please note, your booking is not confirmed until payment has been made. Baby Rhymetime and Storytime do not require a booking, but passes are allocated on a first come, first serve basis.

How do I keep up-to-date about upcoming programs and events?
Be the first to hear about new events and programs by visiting the library and picking up a copy of the monthly Bookmark Newsletter, subscribe to the library’s monthly Bookmark eNewsletter and/or like the library’s Facebook page.

How do I cancel my event booking?
To cancel your booking, contact the library. Note: the library has a no-refund policy for paid events.

Community book clubs

If you want to start your own book club, or if you are a member of an existing book club that meets in someone’s home or in the community, the library has book club sets of select titles that can be loaned for extended periods.

Want to research your family history but don't know where to start? Our family historian will be on hand to help you to fill in the gaps. Second Tuesday and Thursday of each month. Free, bookings essential.
