Strength for Life (formerly Living Longer Living Stronger)

Strength for Life is an evidence-based strength training and exercise program designed specifically for the over 50s. It aims to achieve a reduction in falls, improved health, quality of life and fitness.

Weekly Group session at Leisurelife: Thursday from 9.30–10.30am

Individual sessions at Leisurelife: Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 10am–12noon

Location: Leisurelife Centre - Corner of Kent and Gloucester Streets, East Victoria Park

 

Mobility Aqua (available to Strength for Life participants): Tuesday 8.10am

A water based progressive strength and mobility class aimed at improving health, coordination, balance, gait, flexibility and bone density.

Location: Aqualife Centre  -  42 Somerset Street, East Victoria Park

 

Options of cost:

  • Initial assessment: $45 (one off fee)
  • Individual session: $9
  • 10 session pass + one free: $90; or
  • Monthly direct debit inclusive of unlimited Strength for Life sessions + unlimited access to pool and spa: $49 per month
