The Burswood Peninsula is the entertainment hub of the Town of Victoria Park, home to some of the state’s biggest tourist attractions, including Crown Perth, Optus Stadium, the Camfield, Belmont Park Racecourse and the State Tennis Centre.
Surrounded by parkland, the peninsula is just three kilometres from the CBD and connected to East Perth by the newly built Matagarup Bridge. The long-term vision for Burswood Peninsula is to create an attractive, vibrant and sustainable urban setting, with a diverse mix of housing, recreation, entertainment, tourism and employment opportunities.

Meet Lisa Tidy - Place Leader (Economic Development)
Lisa is an economist, with experience in statistics and economic development. After years of creating data, she decided she wanted to work with the people affected by that data, and got involved with helping local businesses and economic development. Lisa is totally addicted to cheese, chocolate cake and realistically, food in general, and spends her spare time running to make up for all the eating she does (balance right?).
Favourite thing about Burswood Pensinsula: “My favourite thing about my place is the diverse range of offerings it has for all different people - families can go walking around the foreshore, sporting fans can go see a game at Optus Stadium, and foodies can find something to eat at Crown.”
