Public Places Sub-Programs

The Public Places Program is split in to six sub programs that all contribute to the improvement of the Town’s public places.

Collectively, these sub-programs work to implement the Public Open Space Strategy to ensure equitable provision, access, type and quality of public open space and its benefits are available to the entire community.

Park Masterplans

The Parks Masterplan sub program covers the large park infrastructure projects occurring in the Town.

Better Parks

The Better Parks sub program identifies parks that the Town can be upgraded and improved within a year.

Old Spaces, New Places

OId Spaces, New Places looks to identify and target locations across the Town that can be renewed and upgraded for greater use.

Micro Spaces

Micro spaces are small scale upgrades that improve public spaces for pedestrians.

Easy to Access

This sub program looks to ensure the Town’s public spaces are readily available to all members of the community.

Your Space

The Your Space sub program is where the Town and the community can work together to maintain our green spaces.
