Park Masterplans

The Parks Masterplan sub program covers the large park infrastructure projects occurring in the Town. This includes park masterplans undertaken by the Town and external parties, as well as local planning policies relating the public open space.

The intent of this sub program is to ensure large scale projects are managed effectively and efficiently, identifying gaps in public open space and action taken to address these gaps.

METRONET

The Town is working with METRONET to create well-connected and thriving places for people along the rail corridor.

Higgins Park and Playfield Reserve Masterplan

The Masterplan has been created to maximise sporting use and passive recreation on the site.

Edward Millen Adaptive Heritage and Landscape Redevelopment

The Masterplan was developed to demonstrate how the landscape and the building can interact providing for an integrated and holistic approach.

McCallum Park Active Area

This park design is comprised of diverse active and passive spaces to celebrate cultural identity and to foster a connected, thriving and healthy community.

GO Edwards Park

The Town have recently completed landscape upgrades to this high quality parkland containing mature trees, open turf, playground and a rehabilitated wetland area.

Kent Street Sand Pit Concept Plan

The Concept Plan will direct how the Town rehabilitates and revegetates the Kent Street Sand Pit.
