Recent public place upgrades

The Town know the importance of providing high quality, safe and accessible public spaces. This is why the Town are committed to continuing to upgrade both our urban and green spaces.

Below are just a few of the places that have been upgraded across the Town of Victoria Park in the last few years.

Bidi Walk Laneway Upgrade

A transformation of an underutilised laneway into a vibrant, pedestrianised public space.

Etwell Street Local Centre Revitalisation

The revitalisation of the local centre into an important hub and local meeting place.

Forward Reserve upgrade

Forward Reserve was upgraded in 2022 as the Town's first Better Parks project under the Public Places Program.

GO Edwards Park upgrade

The Town have recently completed landscape upgrades to this high quality parkland containing mature trees, open turf, playground and a rehabilitated wetland area.
