If you own a property in the Town of Victoria Park, you can request to obtain copies of the approved plans of your property. The records are kept either at the Town's administration centre, or off-site with the City of Perth.
To access plans, owner authorisation* and a request fee of $75 is required. The weekly cut off for requests each week is 5pm every Wednesday. If plans are found, they may take up to 10 business days to be provided to you. If you require the search to be done urgently, you can pay a request fee of $200 and the plans will be available within 48 hours, provided it is not requested on a Friday. Should you elect to collect the plans, we will contact you when they are ready to be collected.
*Strata owner requests - If you are requesting copies of plans for an entire building, you will be required to produce written authorisation from all owners, in the means of:
- A letter clearly stating who is authorised to request copies of plans with the signature of each owner; or
- A letter from the body corporate/strata company/council of owners which clearly states who is authorised to act on behalf of the owners with the signature of each authorised person; or
- A copy of the body corporate/strata company/council of owners meeting minutes which clearly state who is authorised to act on behalf of the owners, with the signature of each authorised person.
Please note - If plans are not found, the cost of the search will not be refunded. Council is not able to guarantee which documents are in the envelopes.
