Archival plans

If you own a property in the Town of Victoria Park, you can request to obtain copies of the approved plans of your property. The majority of archival plans are stored off-site and are ordered in, when requested, through an archive search request.

To access approved plans, please complete the below form ensuring that is authorised by the landowners (see below for strata authorisation)*. A search request fee of $75 is payable and the scanning/photocopying of records is charged in accordance with the Town's Schedule of Fees and Charges.

Plans are generally scanned and sent by email, but if you elect to collect the plans, we will contact you when they are ready for collection from the Town's administration centre.

* Strata owner authorisation

If you are requesting copies of plans for an entire building, you will be required to produce written authorisation from all owners, in the means of:

  • A letter clearly stating who is authorised to request copies of plans with the signature of each owner; or
  • A letter from the body corporate/strata company/council of owners which clearly states who is authorised to act on behalf of the owners with the signature of each authorised person; or
  • A copy of the body corporate/strata company/council of owners meeting minutes which clearly state who is authorised to act on behalf of the owners, with the signature of each authorised person.

Please note: the Town is experiencing a high volume of archive search requests and the current turnaround time is three-four weeks.

Alternatively, if you require the search to be done urgently, you can pay a request fee of $200 and the plans will be available within two working days.

To submit a request, please complete the archival search form(PDF, 196KB) and forward to admin@vicpark.wa.gov.au - in the subject line please include the property address and 'archive search request'

On occasion, archival records or information that a customer has requested for the relevant property are not found. Should this occur, it is advised that the archive search fee is non-refundable.
