Food and Beverage Marketing Campaign - Business Expression of Interest

The new Perth Stadium is due to open early next year and the Town of Victoria Park wants to attract stadium patrons into the Town to utilise the Town’s food businesses. This marketing campaign aims to capitalise on the opportunity to draw people to the Town to eat or drink before or after an event.

There will be public transport buses running along Albany Highway on major event days and we want to promote the usage of these transport links for the economic benefit to the area and utilisation of the Town's food businesses.

Do you run a restaurant, cafe or a bar in the Town and want to attract extra patronage?

If so we are looking for you to get involved in this marketing campaign!

To get involved in this marketing campaign:

  • The business must be willing to sign up to a set of standards which include: helping to decide on a brand for the marketing campaign, using social media to attract patronage along with having your business ready for the extra potential footfall.
  • The business will also provide an offer which can be promoted. For example: 20% off on game days, buy one coffee get one free.

The purpose of this is to create a top of mind awareness of businesses in the Town when people attend the stadium. Offers which are attractive and value for money will help bring people to the Town.

We want businesses to feel part of this campaign so we are engaging with you from the beginning of this project.

Simply email your expression of interest by 7 November 2017 to tholland@vicpark.wa.gov.au

There will be a presentation in the Town in the coming weeks to explain this project in more detail. The details of which will be emailed to you.

This marketing campaign is one of several initiatives which are focusing on delivering benefits to our community and businesses. The potential added footfall is a positive for other industries in the Town also with more people in the area. We are developing a Business Ready Pack with information on events at the stadium, public transport routes, ideas on how to attract more people into your store and other information which may be beneficial to business owners in the area.

We look forward to hearing from food businesses who want to get involved in this exciting campaign!
