Food and Beverage Marketing Campaign - Optus Stadium

Optus Stadium is due to open in January 2018 and the Town wants to attract stadium patrons into the Town of Victoria Park to utilise the Town’s food businesses. This marketing campaign aims to capitalise on the opportunity to draw people to the Town to eat or drink before or after an event.

To date, in conjunction with interested food businesses, we have developed a brand for this campaign and are excited to start promoting the campaign in early 2018. There is still time for more food businesses to be part of this.

What do we need from your business to be part of this campaign?

1. An offer

Your business will need to provide an attractive offer to entice people to Victoria Park. For example: 20% off on game days, buy one coffee get one free. We will need your offer to put on the marketing flyers and website and ready to be in place for the Optus Stadium Open Day on 21 January 2018.

2. Your logo

We will be putting business logos on the marketing flyers.

 3. Collaborative promotion

You must be willing to utilise your social media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram to promote this campaign and encourage visitation. Guidelines and tools will be provided to businesses to help you cross-promote the initiative.

NOTE: Please email through your offer to and logo by 5 January to be included in the flyers and website.

The purpose of this is to create a top of mind awareness of businesses in the Town when people attend the Optus Stadium.

This marketing campaign is one of several initiatives which are focusing on delivering flow-on benefits from the opening of Optus Stadium to our community and businesses. The potential added footfall is a positive for other industries in the Town also with more people in the area. We are developing a Business Ready Pack with information on events at the stadium, public transport routes, ideas on how to attract more people into your store and other information which may be beneficial to business owners in the area.

We look forward to hearing from food businesses who want to get involved in this campaign.
