State and federal business grants
The state and federal government provide on-going and new grants to businesses every year. The below grants may be applicable to Town of Victoria Park businesses.
- Commercial Development Grants Program
Provides WA-based businesses working in the arts and cultural sector with funding of up to $25,000 to help them grow and market their business.

- Export Market Development Grants (EMDG)
Provides exporters who are aiming to increase their international sales with reimbursements of up to 50% of promotional expenses. Promotional expenses must be over $15,000 to a maximum of $150,000.

- Accelerating Commercialisation
Provides businesses with access to expert advice and matched funding of up to $1 million to cover eligible commercialisation costs to help them to take novel products, processes and services to market.

Provides businesses with matched funding of up to $20,000 for the cost of hiring an expert to help with implementing the advice and strategies recommended through the Business Evaluation, Growth Services, Supply Chain Facilitation or Tourism Partnerships programs.

Provides a tax offset for some of a company's cost of doing eligible research and development (R&D) activities by reducing a company's income tax liability. Tax offsets of 43.5% or 38.5% are available for costs incurred on eligible activities depending on a company’s annual aggregated turnover. The 43.5% benefit is a refundable offset.

Provides Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander individuals and businesses with access to financial products, advice, training and workshops to start or grow a small to medium business.

The Entrepreneurs’ Programme uses experienced advisers and facilitators, drawn from industry, to ensure businesses get the advice and support needed to improve their competitiveness, productivity and to seek growth opportunities. Practical support for businesses, researchers and entrepreneurs includes: advice from people with relevant private sector experience, co-funded grants to commercialise novel intellectual property in the form of new products, processes and services, funding to take advantage of growth opportunities, and connection and collaboration opportunities.

Provides Australian start-up businesses with a workspace for up to 90 days in a global innovation hub. The space includes access to coaching, investors, customers, training opportunities, tailored networking events and state-of-the-art facilities to develop their business model.
