Christian Thompson: Ritual Intimacy

Curated by Hettie Perkins and Charlotte Day for Monash University Museum of Art (MUWA), this is the first major survey exhibition of the work of the Bidjara artist, Christian Thompson, one of Australia's leading and most intriguing artists. The exhibition surveys his diverse practice, encompassing photography, video, sculpture, performance and sound, interweaving themes of identity, race and history with his lived experience.

This exhibition celebrates the International Year of Indigenous Languages, and is presented with support from Navitas Ltd, Principal Presenting Partner. 

Please note: exhibition is open Monday to Friday 11am to 5pm and Sunday from 12pm to 4pm.
