Will-workshop

The Public Trustee from the Department of Justice will be hosting a free talk to help people make informed choices about making and storing their will and planning for the future administration of their financial affairs and estates.

Public Trustee Director Etta Palumbo will educate people on the need to make legally valid wills and provide advice surrounding deceased estate and financial administration processes, as well as having an Enduring Power of Attorney in place, and safeguarding against financial or elder abuse in later life.

  • what really happens if you die without a valid will?
  • who can challenge your will?
  • what do executors and administrators do?
  • benefits and risks of Enduring Powers versus Guardianship and Administration orders.

This free event is being held in collaboration with Connect Victoria Park Village Hub who will be providing delicious scones for morning tea served from 11am.
