After an overwhelmingly successful first year, the Town of Victoria Park is pleased to announce the return of the Vic Park Business Awards.

With nominations now open, it’s time to put forward a business in the Town that you think deserves consideration for an award.

Town Mayor Karen Vernon said she was delighted to announce the awards would return in 2020.

“Council was extremely pleased to see the success of the awards last year and are looking forward to recognising even more businesses this year.

“Our Town is home to a diverse range of businesses who are passionate about continuing to make the Town a great place to live, work and play.

“They are an important part of our community, adding vibrancy, unique offerings, making Vic Park a truly dynamic place.

“I encourage everyone to show their appreciation of our local businesses and consider submitting a nomination”.

The awards recognise local businesses who have excelled in a variety of categories, including new business, marketing, tourism and hospitality, access and inclusion, digital innovation and community connection.

Once nominated businesses in the Town will have the chance to compete for the People’s Choice Award and the highly coveted Business of the Year.

Winners will be announced at an official award ceremony in April. In addition to the category winners, the Town will pay special tribute to one individual or business that will be inducted into the Vic Park Business Hall of Fame.
