The Town of Victoria Park is reviewing its suite of Local Planning Policies.

The Local Planning Policies (LPPs) set out guidelines for how land can be used and developed in the Town.

At the moment we are asking for your feedback on:

  • Draft Revised LPP 3 – Non-Residential Uses In or Adjacent to Residential Areas - Existing LPP 3 has been revised to provide clearer provisions for non-residential uses and contribute to improved streetscape and amenity outcomes.
  • Draft Revised LPP 4 – Mixed Use Development and Residential Uses in Non-Residential Areas - Existing LPPs 4 and 5 have been reviewed and consolidated to form a single policy outlining the requirements that apply to mixed use development and residential uses in non-residential areas.
  • Revocation of existing LPP 5 – Mixed Residential/Commercial Development - The proposed consolidation of LPPs 4 and 5 means existing LPP 5 will become redundant and is therefore proposed to be revoked.

The draft policies can be viewed and submissions lodged online, or in in person at the Town’s Administration Centre (99 Shepperton Rd, Vic Park) or Library (27 Sussex St, East Vic Park).

Submissions may also be lodged by mail to Locked Bag 437, Victoria Park WA 6979 or email to admin@vicpark.wa.gov.au .

All submissions must be received by 5pm, 2 October 2018.
