Lockdown Lifted

Following this Premier's announcement, lockdown will end at 12.01am tonight and restrictions will be eased over the next nine days.

From 12.01am Saturday, 3 July until 12.01am Tuesday, 6 July:

  • The Town’s Administration Centre, Leisure Centres and Library will remain closed.
  • Local businesses can reopen under the 4sqm and 20 patron limits.
  • Face masks will remain mandatory when you aren’t at home.
  • Public BBQs and playgrounds will reopen.
  • Outdoor community sport can re-commence, with no spectators.
  • Indoor community sport will remain cancelled.

The Annual Electors Meeting scheduled for Monday 5 July has been postponed until further notice.

Barring any setbacks, we will look to reopen the Town’s Administration Centre, Leisure Centres and Library under capacity restrictions on Tuesday 6 July. Check in with us on Monday for further details.
