All work submitted will be reviewed by a panel of professional artists and arts educators. There will be age-based awards, as well as open Primary and Secondary categories. Award recipients will be announced at an exhibition opening event on Thursday April 13 at 6pm.

Additionally, there are three subject matter awards** for works relating to three key themes;

2. Our Heroes; works representing your personal hero (& tell us why), perhaps a grandparent, a leader, a teacher, emergency services or healthcare worker.

3. Our Town; works representing life in Victoria Park.

**Please note works entered do not need to respond to these themes.

During the exhibition, the public will be invited to register their vote for a people’s choice award in different age categories. Votes will close on Saturday 22 April and the winners announced at an exhibition closing event to be held on Sunday 23 April at 2pm.

The prize pool is currently sitting at over $1000. Awards will include any of the following: cash prizes, workshops/art class vouchers, books and art supply vouchers.
