The Town of Victoria Park will once again acknowledge and celebrate the worthy Town faithful who have made a valuable contribution to the growth and development of the local community.

The 2018 Town Faithful celebration (formerly known as Early Settlers) will take place in June.

If you have lived in one of the Town’s suburbs for 50 years or more, we’d like to hear from you.

Town Faithful are current residents who have lived continuously in the Town’s localities of Victoria Park, East Victoria Park, Lathlain, Carlisle, Burswood or relevant parts of Welshpool, Bentley or St James, and who still currently reside within the district.

“This is the fifth time the Town has celebrated those who have stayed faithful to us and it’s really a delightful way for long-term residents to get together and reminisce about the Town, their adventures and experiences of living here over half a century,” said Mayor Trevor Vaughan.

“If you haven’t quite made it to the 50-year mark but you know someone who has, be sure to let them know and encourage them to register.”

One application needs to be completed per eligible family member. Pick up a registration form from the library, or on the Town’s website at vicpk.co/townfaithful and submit it by 30 March 2018. Eligible residents will be sent an invite for the June celebration.
