Unwrapping the festive season in Vic Park

The Town of Victoria Park is inviting the people of Perth to Unwrap Vic Park this festive season. Known for its bustling café strip, entertainment precinct and a number of Perth’s hidden gems, it’s the perfect time to visit Vic Park.
The Town has launched a Town-wide campaign that highlights all there is to see and do in the area during December and January, providing much-needed support for local businesses including eateries, retail and entertainment.
Mayor of the Town of Victoria Park, Karen Vernon said, “2020 has been a challenging year and few in our community have not been impacted in some way by COVID-19.
“This year, more than ever, we want to encourage our community to choose local businesses for shopping, dining out, and entertaining over the festive season.
“Vic Park is home to some truly unique experiences and we’d love to share them with the people of Perth.”
“We’ve made visiting even easier with one hour free parking in all paid parking bays along Albany Highway during December and January.
A quick online search for ‘Unwrap Vic Park’ reveals an online hub with all Vic Park has to offer including community-led events, Christmas lights trail and Town-wide Pinterest board filled with gift ideas.
Mayor Vernon said, “After what has been a very socially separated year we want bring back a feeling of togetherness.
“We’re reaching out to our community, local groups and businesses to help spread the joy. It’s not too late to get involved.”
