The Haven Centre support those less fortunate in our community and Joan Sutherland, with a team of volunteers, have continued working hard throughout COVID-19 to help those in need.

During this difficult time the team has adapted the support they offer and and is now assisting almost double the number of families and individuals they would normally see.

Over the course of the pandemic The Haven Centre has started providing take away meals for breakfast and lunch, as well as fresh food and dry food hampers. During this time the team regularly serve up to 130 meals a day, which is in addition to providing support to other local organisations.

The support provided by this wonderful team of volunteers is available to anyone in need:

  • Free take away breakfast 8am – 9.30am served at The Haven Centre red door.
  • Free take away lunch 11am – 1pm served at The Haven Centre red door.
  • Home delivery of free food hampers and or fresh meals are available to those who are isolated.
