The Town of Victoria Park has again celebrated entrepreneurship, innovation and the contributions of local businesses at the 2021 Business Awards at a gala ceremony held at Optus Stadium on 4 June.

Westbooks were inducted into the Hall of Fame for their significant contribution to the Vic Park community over a long period of time, by providing quality reading resources and shelf-ready services to state and public libraries, government institutions and schools for over 40 years.

Mayor Karen Vernon said “Westbooks are Western Australia’s only full-service library supplier, and they are the majority supplier for the Town’s library.  We are very proud to have such a long-running organisation within our Town helping to foster literacy and bring the magic of books to young and old. Congratulations Westbooks!”

Westbook’s School and Public Library Executive Julie Bumford said: “Westbooks is so proud to be a part of the Victoria Park community and we are so thrilled to be inducted into their Hall of Fame for 2021.
