Who let the Dogs Out?

Published on 30 March 2022

We’re letting the dogs out! Back by popular demand, the Town of Victoria Park Dogs Breakfast returns for a second year on Sunday, 1 May 2022.

The free event will take place at Koolbardi Park in Carlisle. There will be plenty of activities for humans and dogs to enjoy, including a pet photobooth, market stalls, a pooch parade, and obedience demonstrations by RSPCA WA and Perth Dog Training & Agility Club.

For the first time, owners will be able to conveniently register their pets at the Town’s dedicated registration stall during the event.

Mayor Karen Vernon said Dogs Breakfast offers a light-hearted and entertaining morning for owners to spend quality time with their furry friends.

“As the proud mum of two gorgeous dogs, I know how much dogs can enrich our lives. This event celebrates our four-legged companions, and showcases the wonderful dog-friendly businesses within the Town.

“Vic Park is home to many businesses and organisations where you can take your furry friend along for a bite to eat, a puppacino, some pampering, and all their healthcare needs.

“I encourage our community to join in the fun, bring your dogs, support our small businesses, and even enter the pooch parade, where I have the honour of being on the judging panel,” said Mayor Vernon.
