The Town of Victoria Park regularly reviews its suite of Local Planning Policies (LPPs) which set out guidelines for how land can be used and developed in the Town.
At the moment, we are asking for your feedback on: draft Revised LPP 40 – Burswood Station East Development Standards and Public Realm Improvements Existing LPP 40 is proposed to be retitled and amended following the recent gazettal of associated Scheme Amendment No. 82 to the Town of Victoria Park Town Planning Scheme No. 1, which was further modified in accordance with the decision of the Minister for Planning.
The revisions to LPP 40 are proposed to support the intended transition of the Burswood Station East sub-precinct into a transit-oriented, mixed use development area.
The proposed changes include amended provisions to clarify requirements relating to on-site car parking and laneway widening to support future public realm improvements.
The draft revised policy can be viewed and submissions lodged online at yourthoughts.victoriapark.wa.gov.au/lpp40, or in person at the Town’s Administration Centre (99 Shepperton Road, Victoria Park) or Library (27 Sussex St, East Victoria Park).
