The Town of Victoria Park has proposed to make the Fencing Local Law 2020 which will repeal and replace the Town of Victoria Park Local Laws Relating to Fencing published in the Government Gazette on 22 September 2000.
The purpose of this local law is to prescribe what constitutes a sufficient fence and the standard for the construction of fences throughout the district.
The effect of this local law is to establish the minimum requirements for fencing within the district.
A copy of the proposed local law will be available from Thursday 1 October 2020 until Friday 21 November 2020 either:
- Via the ‘Your Thoughts’ online consultation hub at www.yourthoughts.victoriapark.wa.gov.au
- At the Town of Victoria Park administration centre, 99 Shepperton Road, Victoria Park between the hours of 8:30am and 5pm.
- At the Victoria Park Library, 27 Sussex Street, East Victoria Park, between the hours of 9am and 5pm on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, 9am until 8pm on Thursday.
Public submissions relating to the local law may be made in writing until 5pm Friday 21 November 2020 and lodged with the Town of Victoria Park either by:
