NOTICE OF INTENTION TO LEVY DIFFERENTIAL RATES FOR
THE YEAR ENDING 30 JUNE 2024
In accordance with Section 6.36 of the Local Government Act 1995, notice is hereby given of the intention by the Town of Victoria Park to adopt the following rates in the dollar for Gross Rental Value and minimum payments for each of the following differential categories in the 2023-2024 financial year.
Residential – Gross Rental Value
Rate in the dollar Minimum payment
0.08473 cents $1,269.00
Non-residential – Gross Rental Value
Rate in the dollar Minimum payment
0.10290 cents $1,319.00
Vacant Land
Rate in the dollar Minimum payment
0.15867 cents $2,036.00
Information relating to the objects and reasons for each proposed rate and payment is available for inspection at the Town of Victoria Park administration building, 99 Shepperton Road, Victoria Park, between the hours of 8.30am and 4.30pm, Monday to Friday, or on the Council website at victoriapark.wa.gov.au.
Submissions made by an elector or a ratepayer in respect of the proposed rates, and any related matter, must be received by 4pm on Friday 9 June 2023 and can be submitted online at yourthoughts.victoriapark.wa.gov.au, via email to admin@vicpark.wa.gov.au (titled Differential Rating Submission) or via post addressed to the Chief Executive Officer, Town of Victoria Park, Locked Bag 437, VICTORIA PARK WA 6979, and clearly marked Differential Rating Submission.
