The Landscape

To accompany the restoration and adaptive re-use of the heritage buildings within the Ground Lease Area, the Town will be undertaking an extensive redevelopment of the remaining Edward Millen Reserve as guided by the Landscape Master Plan. 
 
This component of the project will include:

• Demolition of Hill View Clinic (Block C) 
• Park fixtures and fittings (Shelters, BBQs, Drink fountains, bike racks etc) 
• New Car Park including 49 bays and six ACROD bays 
• Changing Places toilet facility
• Revitalisation of heritage avenue and spaces around the buildings 
• Extensive landscaping, planting and tree maintenance of the entire reserve 
• Feature seating and Amphitheatre 
• Universal access circulation path 
• Playground design for children with autism spectrum disorder 
• Integration of heritage through an interpretation strategy
