Get involved with Macmillan Precinct Redevelopment

The Town of Victoria Park is committed to working closely with local clubs, groups and residents to collaboratively shape a Macmillan Precinct Masterplan that will inform the redevelopment required, fit for the future needs of our community.

Involvement in the Macmillan Precinct Redevelopment project is welcomed at key stages for consultation, feedback and engagement. Below is a number of past opportunities for involvement. Future participation for the project will be updated here and made visible via the Town’s other communications channels.

Completed: Macmillan Precinct Vision Charter Public Comment

In April 2020, we sought public comment for the Macmillan Precinct Redevelopment vision, developed via community consultation.

Completed: Macmillan Precinct Concept Plan Public Comment

In September 2020, the Town of Victoria Park invited public comment on three concept design plans, which informed the next, important stage of Masterplan development.

Completed: Macmillan Precinct Masterplan Working Group

Following Town of Victoria Park Council recommendation at the April OCM, the Town sought expressions of interest from community members to join the Working Group. Applications ended 9 May 2021.

Happening: Macmillan Precinct Consultation: Vic Park Bowls Club

Together with our consultant, RobertsDay, the Town of Victoria Park is conducting workshops and focus groups with Vic Park Bowls for sustainable design options.

Upcoming: Macmillan Precinct Masterplan Public Comment

The Town of Victoria Park is currently entering the important stage of Macmillan Precinct Redevelopment: the development of a Masterplan. Public feedback will be sought once the Masterplan has been drafted with the relevant stakeholder and consultation groups.
