Graffiti vandalism is illegal. Residents are encouraged to report graffiti vandalism by contacting the customer service team at the Town on 9311 8111.
To report graffiti vandalism on your property please provide the following information:
- Address of the property.
- The location of the graffiti (e.g. back fence facing the lane way).
- Description of graffiti, including colour of graffiti and approximate size.
- Whether the graffiti contains offensive language or images.
Once reported, the Town’s graffiti removalist will visit the site and determine when and how the graffiti will be removed.
Graffiti removal on properties
Prior to graffiti removal permission must be obtained from a property owner or person duly authorised by the property owner. In addition, waivers of liability are to be signed and remain in place for two years, subject to change of property ownership. These waivers cover the Town against claims for loss or damage that may occur during the graffiti removal process.
