Mowing of street verges
The Town does not generally mow residential verges, it is expected that the resident will maintain the verge.
The following roads are maintained as per Policy 256 Mowing of Street Verges by the Town and mowing is undertaken three times per year.
- Jarrah Road (Kent Street to Hill View Terrace)
- Kent St to Jarrah Rd – Garden Verge
- Jarrah Road – Triangle area
- Boundary Road – Albany Hwy to Taree Street – Townside only
- Albany Hwy – Leichardt to Boundary
- Hill View Terrace, Street James
- Etwell Street, East Victoria Park
- Kent Street – Hayman Road to Berwick Street – South side only
- Kent Street – Berwick Street to Albany Highway
- Berwick Street – Canning Highway to boundary
- McMillan Street, Victoria Park
- Miller Street, East Victoria Park
- Shepperton Road (including POS near Welshpool Road)
- Mint Street, East Victoria Park
- Archer Street, Carlisle
- Roberts Road, Lathlain
- Star Street, Carlisle
- Oats Street, Carlisle
- Planet Street – Oats Street to Briggs Street, Carlisle
- Briggs Street – Rutland Avenue to Planet Street
- Burswood Road – Including POS
- Asquith Street, Burswood
- Teddington Road, Burswood
- Craig Street, Burswood
- Victoria Park Drive
- Kitchener Avenue
- Duncan Street, Victoria Park
- Bank Street – Including Railway verge to PTA fence
- Orrong Road – Townside only – Kew Street to Cornwall Street
- Cohn Street verge
- Welshpool Road – Bank Street to Shepperton Road
- George Street – Baron Hay Court to Berwick Street
- Baron Hay Court, Kensington – Both sides
- Hayman Road, Bentley
- Manning Road – Kent Street to Townsing Drive south only
- Burswood Industrial Area
- Carlisle / Welshpool Industrial Area
The arterial roads (Canning Highway, Great Eastern Highway, Shepperton and Orrong Roads) are all maintained by Main Roads WA. Any enquiries regarding the verges of these road should be directed to the Town at admin@vicpark.wa.gov.au
