In March 2016, Council resolved to approve submission of all remaining residential areas in the Town without underground power for inclusion in Round Six of the State Underground Power Program (SUPP).
In accordance with Council’s resolution, eight precincts were submitted for consideration for inclusion in the SUPP. The precinct location areas and size were determined in accordance with the project area size guidelines set for Round Six by the SUPP Committee, and by proximity to those areas of the Town already serviced by underground power.
