Batteries, fluoro globes, phones, ink cartridges and car batteries
The Town of Victoria Park has recycling stations for residents to recycle multiple household items.
Take your small batteries and fluorescent globes, ink cartridges and mobile phones to these stations, which are conveniently located at:
- Library, 27 Sussex Street, East Victoria Park (Batteries)
Please be aware, items will not be accepted if they do not fit through the allocated slots (max. 7cm width).
If your items are too large you can contact the City of South Perth Recycling Centre - 9474 0970, or drop it off at 218 Planet Street Welshpool on - 9am to 1pm for household hazardous waste day.
Plastic cards and masks
The Town of Victoria Park Library also has a plastic card recycling bin (including IDs, licenses, credit cards, business cards, gift cards, key cards) and a mask recycling bin (non-woven disposable plastic-based face masks including 3-ply surgical, dust masks, KN95, and N95 masks).
Car Batteries
Should residents wish to dispose of car batteries you are able to do so by placing the battery on the verge next to your green bin on collection days. Please note that the Contractor can only collect a small number each collection, so if yours is not collected please call the Town on 9311 8111 and alternate arrangements may be organised.
