Chief Executive Officer Team

Our Governance, Risk & Auditing crew are the planners and protectors — they help shape the Town’s future through key strategies and make sure we’re ready for anything with solid risk and continuity plans. They also run the monthly Council meeting cycle and make sure that decisions and policies are maintained.

People & Culture are all about supporting our teams — from hiring and policies to safety and development, they’re the backbone of our workplace wellbeing.

And Stakeholder Relations They’re the connectors — keeping our community informed, handling enquiries with care, and driving advocacy to bring more funding and support to Town projects.

Chief Financial Officer team

The Chief Financial Office team plays a key role in supporting the Towns financial health, digital infrastructure, and community facilities.

They work closely with departments and elected members to prepare and monitor the annual budget, and manage the levying and collection of council rates. The technology and digital strategy team keeps our core IT systems, networks and devices running smoothly, with a strong focus on cybersecurity and data protection, while overseeing enterprise platforms like Civica Authority and CM9 Trim.

Business services round out the team by promoting parking compliance and community safety through our Parking and Ranger services, and managing our popular leisure facilities — Aqualife and Leisurelife — for the wellbeing of our community.

Chief Community Planner

The Chief Community Office is all about building vibrant, connected and inclusive communities. This team oversees development services such as building approvals and pool fence inspections, supports environmental health initiatives, and drives community development, events, arts and local funding programs. They also lead place planning to shape welcoming and well-designed neighbourhoods.

The Town Library, a standout part of this portfolio, offers library services with a wide range of authors and genres, exceptional customer service, and unique offerings like birdwatching kits, board games, laptop dispensers, computer access, and even book delivery for those who need it.

Chief Operations Office

The Chief Operations Office is responsible for delivering and maintaining the essential services that keep our town running smoothly. This team oversees infrastructure operations including streets, parks, engineering and waste management, ensuring our public spaces are safe, functional and well-maintained. They also manage property development and leasing, provide technical services, and look after our assets and environment — all with a focus on sustainability, efficiency and community benefit.
