A development application for a Mixed Use development has been submitted to the State Development Assessment Unit (SDAU) for Nos. 167 & 169 Bank Street, East Victoria Park. The proposed building is 16 storeys (plus three basement levels) comprising 85 residential apartments and a commercial tenancy at street level. The estimated cost of the development is $26.7 million and the development site is in proximity to Oat Street train station.

The application is currently being advertised for public comments by the Department of Planning, Lands and Heritage until Thursday 15 March 2024. The Town of Victoria Park will be providing a recommendation and referral comments to the Western Australian Planning Commission (WAPC) who are the decision-maker of this application.
