EXPRESSION OF INTEREST - 31 RUSHTON STREET, BURSWOOD

The Town of Victoria Park invites Expressions of Interest to lease the buildings known as The Old Croquet Club and land of 31 Rushton Street, Burswood, in accordance with Council Policy 310 – Leasing. Lease area: 5 Lots totalling 3,899m2.

Applicants must be a not for profit or community organisation who wish to occupy the property under a lease or licence not exceeding 3 years duration, for community purposes, subject to there being no costs to the Town in modifying or upgrading the existing buildings on the property.

Expressions of Interest must be completed in writing in accordance with the qualitative criteria contained within the property prospectus, these include:

  1. Business Case
  2. Detailed Lease Proposal including proposed annual rent, commercial benefits, community benefits, fit out concept plans, relevant experience, financial position and two references.

A copy of the property prospectus can be obtained by contacting the Town’s Property Development and Leasing Team on (08) 9311 8111 or admin@vicpark.wa.gov.au. The preferred submission will be subject to Council approval and section 3.58 of the Local Government Act 1995.

Expressions of Interest submissions should be marked ‘Proposed Lease of 31 Rushton St’ and addressed to the Chief Executive Officer, Town of Victoria Park, Locked Bag 437, Victoria Park WA 6979 or emailed to admin@vicpark.wa.gov.au

Submission closing date is Monday 25 March 2024.
