Notice of Update to Council's Planning Policies

Council hereby gives notice that at its meeting on 16 August 2022 it resolved to revoke Local Planning Policy 9 ‘Design Guidelines for Burswood Lakes’.

Council also hereby gives notice that at its meeting on 21 June 2022 it resolved to approve the Town of Victoria Park Heritage List and adopt Local Planning Policy 43 ‘Heritage List’ (LPP43).  LPP 43 includes details regarding the creation, maintenance and amendment of the heritage list as well as specifying requirements for development approval.  

Further details of the above can be obtained by viewing the Minutes of the Ordinary Council Meeting of 21 June 2022 and a copy of LPP43.  These documents can be viewed and downloaded from Council’s website.

Hard copies of LPP43 can be obtained from Council’s Administration Centre, 99 Shepperton Road, Victoria Park during normal office hours.

The revocation and adoption of Local Planning Policies 9 and 43 respectively take effect as of the date of this Notice being 1 September 2022.
