Anthony Vuleta was born and raised in Perth and began his career in a private civil design consultancy before moving into local government in 1988. He has worked at the Cities of Swan (Shire), Belmont and Subiaco prior to starting with the Town as Manager of Technical Services in 2002. In 2008 he became Director of Renew Life where he oversaw the Town’s infrastructure program. He then acted as the CEO for 15 months before permanent appointment to CEO in May 2015.
He is a past President for the Institute of Public Works Engineering Australasia (IPWEA) WA, a past Executive Director of IPWEA and a trustee of the Public Works Foundation and has been involved with the institute since 1999. Anthony sits on the Local Government Advisory Board and Burwood Park Board, is a member of Chief Officers Group for Australasia and the Local Government Professionals.
Anthony has a key focus on developing strategies to help improve and reshape the business of local government to meet the current and future community needs.
