In 2021, the Town launched its first Youth Action Plan to establish a best-practice framework and a coordinated approach to supporting the inclusion and development of young people in our community. At the time, many young people were still grappling with the uncertainty and isolation brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic. Since then, the landscape has evolved, some challenges have eased, while new ones have emerged.
The 2025–2028 Youth Action Plan builds on the successes of our previous efforts and refines our focus to meet the changing needs of young people over the next three years. Our commitment is to work in partnership with the community to deliver strong, inclusive, and impactful outcomes for youth.
