Youth Action Plan Redevelopment
The Town of Victoria Park has re-developed its Youth Action Plan in partnership with the Youth Affairs Council of WA (YACWA).
Why we are developing a new Youth Action Plan
The Town has successfully delivered strong outcomes for young people through the delivery of the Youth Action Plan 2021-2024. You can check out the outcomes of the 2021-2024 plan below:
Youth Action Plan 2021-2024 Impact Report
The next plan aims to understand the changing landscape of youth needs and address these over the next four years, by building on previous successes. To do this we will speak with:
- Young people aged 12-25 who live, work, study, volunteer or visit/use groups and services in the Town
- Parents and caregivers of young people
- Groups, services, and organisations that work with or have a connection to young people
How you can get involved in the Youth Action Plan
We’ve finished writing the new Youth Action Plan for 2025-2028 and we want to know what you think! This draft plan builds on the work from our 2021–2024 plan. It shares the main goals and actions the Town of Victoria Park will focus on to support young people aged 12-25 over the next three years.
The plan was shaped through chats with local young people, schools, community groups and youth services. Now, we want to hear from you. So, take a few minutes to read the draft Youth Action Plan 2025–2028 and fill out the Your Thoughts form below:
Let us know:
- What you liked
- What could be better
- What’s missing
Your feedback will help us improve the plan and make sure it reflects what young people, and the community really need.
Feedback closes: 5pm, 12 June 2025
Thanks for having your say and helping shape the future for young people in Vic Park!
