Park Masterplans

The Parks Masterplan sub program covers the large park infrastructure projects occurring in the Town. This includes park masterplans undertaken by the Town and external parties, as well as local planning policies relating the public open space.

The intent of this sub program is to ensure large scale projects are managed effectively and efficiently, identifying gaps in public open space and action taken to address these gaps.

Higgins Park Master Plan

The Higgins Park Master Plan will enhance sporting use and passive recreation for all community members at the well-used reserve in East Victoria Park.

Elizabeth Baillie Redevelopment

The Edward Millen Heritage and Landscape redevelopment will transform the Town's finest heritage asset and maximise community benefit of the precinct.

McCallum Park and Taylor Reserve

The McCallum Park and Taylor Reserve Master Plan aims to create a vision for new high-quality spaces in the area, and a destination for the community to enjoy.

Go Edwards Park

The Town has recently completed landscape upgrades to this high quality parkland containing mature trees, open turf, playground and a rehabilitated wetland area.

Kent Street Sand Pit

The Town has committed to rehabilitate and revegetate the Kent Street Sand Pit in the environmentally significant Jirdarup Bushland precinct.
